Gareth Green

Gareth Green is a very experienced and popular accompanist on both the piano and the organ. He has accompanied soloists and choirs locally and internationally, and has accompanied frequently on BBC Radio and TV. He enjoys working with instrumentalists and singers of all abilities as an accopanist and/or coach. He often accompanies for Festivals and exams, as well as for concerts and he has made several recordings as an accompanist. Besides accompaniment, Gareth can also assist with tutoring for aural tests, sight reading etc.Gareth trained at the Royal College of Music, London, at St Paul\'s Cathedral London, at Oxford University and at Canterbury Cathedral before becomming Assistant Organist at Wakefield Cathedral. Following some years as Director of Music at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Wakefield, he left to pursue his free-lance interests as a recitalist, accompanist, Associated Board examiner, Festival adjudicator, composer/ arranger etc.You will find and expert and friendly welcome.
