Ruth is a Professional Accompanist working in the North-West. She has worked in a freelance capacity for BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, NYO, RNCM, Royal Northern Ballet School, European Opera Centre, Swansea City Opera, QE2 and Swan Hellenic. She is experienced at working with both singers and instrumentalists and has performed in recitals with members of the BBC Philharmonic and Halle orchestras amongst others and in auditions with contenders for BBC Young Musician of the Year.Ruth studied Musicat Clare College, Cambridge from 1995-98. Ruth thenstudied Piano Accompaniment at the Royal NorthernCollege of Music under Carole Presland for two years.During this time she was awarded the Stella Bradshaw Award for Accompaniment and the Allcard Award 2000 from the Worshipful Company of Musicians. In her final year there Ruth won the Clifton Helliwell Prize for Piano and was awarded their top Performance Diploma PPRNCM with Distinction.Ruth is well connected in the Manchester area and if she can\\\'t help you she will probably know someone who can!
