Born in Naples, Emma Abbate is an official accompanist at
Trinity College of Music, London. She performs with singers and
instrumentalists in many countries, and works as a repetiteur and
Italian language coach for leading opera companies. Her repertoire
encompasses arias from the early Baroque era to contemporary works by
composers including Krzysztof Meyer and Stephen Dodgson.
Emma is a brilliant performer, mature
and dynamic with a sensitively creative and authoritative
artistry and excellent motivation. Her elegant and stylish
awareness, fine command of her instrument and exemplary integrity in
her playing are matched by a warmth and charming personality. Emma has
