Piano Accompanists in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales

Jocelyn Abbott has been my accompanist for two singing examinations, for both of which I achieved a distinction. This was in no small part due to her outstanding piano-playing and her sensitive response to the needs of the singer. The prior rehearsals we had together were invaluable as she was able to make artistic suggestions with humour and understanding at a time when confidence needs building up and maintaining until the examination. I consider myself very fortunate to have as a work colleague a person with such great musicality, pianistic skills and warm personality.
