Many people enjoy music most when they are not fully aware of its presence. Paul was once complimented by being mistaken for a recording. Every note you will hear from Paul, however, is completely live and spontaneous. Having been introduced to the piano at the tender age of four by his father, Paul plays with the natural flair one would expect from someone with so much experience. His love of all kinds of music is evident in his wide repertoire and his ability to play almost any tune in a style which suits his current setting.
Paul has been known to play pop tunes in a relaxed "cocktail bar" style or disguise Gershwin or Noel Coward pieces as light classical for effect. Modern digital technology enables Paul to be completely self-contained, if necessary. He carries with him what he calls his "Portable Grand" piano. This instrument sounds like an expensive Grand Piano while fitting into Paul's car and into a small corner in a restaurant, bar or lounge.
