The Wedding Pianist
As a Wedding pianist since 1999 I have built up considerable experience playing at literally hundreds of weddings, events, parties and anniversaries of various kinds. I offer an extremely broad range of music with the main aim of providing what you would like rather than what I would like you to have!For Weddings I offer - music for the Ceremony which can be planned in minute detail and includes the offer of music I have written myself as well as a more traditional approach - music for the Reception can relate to a theme or style - for the Wedding Breakfast I can take guests' requests by leaving the piano to visit a couple of tables every so often. This can make the meal that bit more entertaining for everyone. - for the evening I can offer 'Basti's Trio'. We play three strands of music: melodic jazz standards (Nat King Cole, Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington), original instrumental and straightforward dance music (Abba, Beatles etc). The aim is to provide a jazz-club atmosphere where people can talk, eat, listen or dance.Specialist services include music for Bollywood weddings, arrangements of particular songs or pioeces of music and also singalongs: very entertaining for Birthday parties or anniversaries.Piano hire is available - either my own Clavinova or Gem, or a grand piano by arrangement. Some venues or events require a sound system.I can provide this for bigger weddings, Marquees or for playing outside.
