| Elena Kay: General Info
|
| Member Since | 10/30/2006 | | Influences | So many influences! I grew up with Greek, Latin and Folk/Ethnic music. I love Arabic and Latin music, from Salsa to Brazilian Jazz & Funk. I'm a huge fan of dance music, trance, garage and drum and base. Today I like lots of singers and bands from around the world, such as Alanis Morissette, Pendulum, Daft Punk, The Darkness, Keiser Chiefs, Breed 77, Christina Aguilera, Cesaria Evora, Celia Cruz, Shakira, Manu Chao, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Stefanos Korkolis, Ozlem Tekin, Sertab Erener, Gispy Kings and many others. In my music I like to blend different styles, such as rock combined with folk elements. There's something really powerful in both styles, and they sound amazing together! | | Sounds Like | | | Record Label | unsigned | | Type of Label | Major |
