Hello,

I've been offered a second-hand piano which, according to the very little information given to me, was made by Heinrich Hillgartner (Berlin), has an iron frame and cost the owner &200 20 years ago.
I'd be grateful if anyone could advise me on the make and/or give me their general opinion on whether its worth taking such a piano.

Do you know if the piano is an over strung ? when was it last tuned if the seller knows the name of the tuner give them a ring and ask them what the pianos is like if the pianos can be tuned to A440 and is in good working order that 200 is a good buy if it is an over-strung under-damper

If you can't contact the tuner get a tuner to look at it
