Hi there,

I booked my GB1 last week, the piano would be arriving in middle of the month. May be it's a bit too late to ask this question.

I noticed that in one of the web site (UK Web site) i had come acrossed that one point for the specification of the GB1 is that it is made for "SUPER-DRY SEASONED". That has made me worried because I'm living in Malaysia, normally in november and december are the raining season and humidity is high.

Anyone know if Yamaha made 2 types of GB1 to accomodate the different regions? If not, is the "heater" good enough for the piano?

Thanks in advance.

Yamaha do bang on about their seasoned for destination but since the GB1 is made in the same factory this would be difficult to do However, what you do need is a complete system not just a heater if you get large swings in Humidity see
