Hi, Can anyone give me some information on the following piano. Haake Hanover. It was probably manufactured between the late 1800's or early 1900's. Thank you Neil

HAAKE (Karl) Germany: This is all I have ready on computer so far, but the PUBLIC RECORDS OFFICE website list some items about the Haake Piano Agency Ltd.

1836 Established at Hanover, a town in Lower Saxony, west of Brunswick (Braunschweig).
1900 Post Office London Directory lists Haake, Hanover - Alban Voigt & Co. agents, 14 Edmund Place London EC.
Circa 1900 #3,227 Haake upright
Circa 1910 #13,100 Haake upright
By 1910 Crane & Sons, London & Liverpool, were selling Haake pianos.
1911 Karl Haake, of Hanover, is listed by Alfred Dolge "Pianos & Their makers".
1914 Music Trades Directory lists Voigt as an importer, but the entry doesn't mention Haake.
Circa 1920 #26,121 Haake, Hanover grand.
1928 Musique Adresses Universel does not list Haake, so presumably they had finished by then.
