Planning on forking out on a digital piano for us for Christmas. The [b]Roland HPi5[/b] seems to have some nice features for learners ('Digiscore'). Has anyone played with this/MIDI files/ have you any comments? Can it read the musical score from any MIDI file and/ or does it focus on the piano portion? Also, is the piano good for the price ('feel'of keys etc.) or should I be looking at a Clavinova or other? I've forgotten how to read music and could only play a few Xmas carols by ear as a child. Have &1800 max. approx. to spend (would prefer to spend near 1k but willing to pay bit more for something special and/or with added learning features).
