Hello there,
I'm Andy Ralls, a piano teacher based in the London area. I teach from home as well as travelling to students' homes. If you're still looking, I teach up to Grade 8 level and beyond (diplomas). My details are below. Please feel free to contact me by looking at my piano teacher entry (Croydon, London) for my contact phone number and email.
Thankyou.
Grades, diplomas or just for fun;
Advanced, intermediate or absolute beginner;
Adults, children or in-between!
Andy is a friendly and supportive teacher with many years' experience who knows just how to get the best from his students.
He teaches CLASSICAL, JAZZ and POPULAR piano.
CLASSICAL -
He covers GRADES and DIPLOMAS with all major exam boards including ABRSM and TRINITY. He also teaches new students from the vibrant JOHN THOMPSON PIANO COURSE, at the end of which students are ready to take their Grade 1 at least.
Of course, if you don't want to do Grades, he is happy to teach without the pressure of exams.
JAZZ -
He covers TRAD, BE-BOP, BOOGIE AND BLUES, FUSION - just about any style you can name. With many years as a jazz musician behind him, he can help you learn how to IMPROVISE, how to set up blistering CHORD PROGRESSIONS, and play with the TECHNIQUE of the greats.
He also teaches COMPOSITION, ORCHESTRATION and ARRANGEMENT.
He holds an MMus (Distinction) from the London College of Music and the DipLCM for piano. He has worked with the BBC Concert Orchestra, the UWSO and the Primrose Quartet. He has performed at Fairfield Halls and the Warwick Arts Centre.
Please feel free to give him a call! . . . |
