I have an old Newmeyer piano, with the code 21526. I don't know exactly any info about it, just that the lower chords are fan-shaped. Here's the link to the images:

There were several firms with this name, and since many pianos have only the one word on them, it is difficult to know which firm made them. No dates of their serial numbers are available, and the photos don't show enough clear detail or interior to help, or even the whole piano, but it is probably early 1900s. Also, I am not clear what you mean about the strings being fan-shaped. It is an overstrung piano, so the bass strings cross over the others. If you know how to remove the action safely, (the working parts of the notes) the action makers' name and number may be on it, and we may be able to date this. | Ah, and i think the firm that made mine was taken in 1925 by Wolff S&Sohn.Theres one on the forum. |

1890s.
The bass bridge on that piano is one of the stupidest designs ever.

| But i read somewhere that neumeyer produced pianos between 1905 and 1925! |

I repeat - there were a number of piano firms called Neumeyer, so unless you know which one this is, the information quoted about different firms can easily be confusing.
