I have a Hobart M. Cable Upright Grand Piano that i would like some information on. On the inside of the lid it says "Alaskan, Yukon & Pacific Exposition" "Seattle 1909". Is this some sort of 'commemorative edition'? Can you tell the age of this beautiful instrument by the serial number? the serial number is 70517. All i know is that about 40+ years ago, the piano was in Wisconsin. it is now in my home in Indianapolis Indiana and i'm contemplating having it restored. What do those in the know recommend? restoration? leaving it 'as is'? Please let me know. Thank you.
