Hello Everyone-
I have a chance to purchase a Yamaha UX3 from 1978, but at the same time, I went to a piano store and found a new Gebr. Perzina 129 upright, also 52" high. I would like to ask for any advice on the Perzina since I could find very little on the internet!
Has anyone owned a Chinese made Perzina? How well do they hold up?

The Perzina sounded as good as the Yamaha UX3 but has a 10 year warranty from the store. Also, the few internet mentions of the Perzina were very positive, and the piano design sounds interesting.

Thank you very much in advance for your thoughts.

Depends how tired the UX3 is. In theory it should cream the Perzina, but in practice there are good many tired old U-series out there and the Perzina 129 is a very good design. A new one could indeed trounce an elderly U3.

The latest Perzinas are made with a high proportion of European parts, so ensure you're getting one of those. There will be a small logo with note to that effect on the LHS (bass end) of the keyslip: "ESQ - European Standard Quality" and a hanging-tag inside explaining what bits come from which European country. Build quality is impressive.
