My wife has had a Knight upright for some years now. We were recently married and have moved into a house big enough to accomodate the object. Unfortunately, after years under a dust sheet in her parents garage it seems to be a bit poorly. The furniture itself is in perfect condition but some of the keys on the keyboard do not return when depressed. Does anyone know a) what has caused this and b) if it is repairable?
If it is repairable then I'd really like to get it done properly at a reasonable price so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. We live in East London and I'd like to get it tuned also.

a) damp
b) yes
Leave it for a month to settle and call in your local qualified tuner/tech who will be able to give you a price to sort it out. |

| Leave the top lid open as well; it'll help getting a bit of air to the action. |

| And don't dry it artificially with a fan heater, radiator or dehumidifier. |
