|
|
Hi, I'm looking for a boudoir/baby grand, ideally 5'6" and not smaller than 5'. Sadly larger will not fit! I am not looking to spend a fortune but something reasonable, say around £2,000.00.
The piano is for me and I do play...rustily. 10 years spent in recording studios (not palying the piano I hasten to add) in a former life has unfortunately spoilt my ears completely so tone is very important. But I am realistic about what a concert piano would cost...the earth!
It would be great if I can find a nice instrument that is in good condition and that I can enjoy for years to come. Perhaps something older (not ancient!), which has been previously restored.
I am based in Surrey but can look around the South East and London if anyone has any ideas!
Thanks. |

HI, WE ARE IN KENT AND WE HAVE A SCHRIEBER BABY GRAND THAT NEEDS A NEW HOME AS WE ARE MOVING TO NORMANDY IN FRANCE . WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE BUYERS OF OUR HOUSE TO EXCHANGE CONTRACTS FOR A MONTH NOW AND AS A RESULT HAVE HAD TO KEEP REBOOKING THE REMOVAL FIRM. WE HAVE DECIDED TO MOVE OUR OWN STUFF AND RE-HOME THE PIANO.IT IS QUITE OLD BUT ALL IN WORKING ORDER WITH A BLACK CASE THAT HAS BEEN REPOLISHED. I DIDNT PAY MUCH FOR IT SO IF YOU LIKE IT IT WILL BE CHEAP BUT WILL NEED REGULATING AND TUNING. AS YOU HAVE A BUDGET OF 2000 POUNDS PERHAPS THIS WONT BE A PROBLEM.
YOU CAN PHONE ME DIRECT ON 07889640064.
LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU.
BEST REGARDS ANDY |

Hi,
Not sure exactly how suitable this is but it is a short grand.
I'm selling my dad's antique Broadwood short grand of 1895. It plays well and has been well looked after. I've got it on the UK-Piano website - click
http://www.uk-piano.org/used-pianos-for-sale/detail.php?id=1024
Its in North east london so not so far.
Let me know if you may be interested. I will be there at the end of next week, 5/6/7 maybe 8/9/10 March
Open to reasonable offers. The listed price is what the piano tuner reckoned its value to the right buyer.
