Mark Clark at Prestige Computers can repair or replace your floppy drive for a fraction of the extortionate Yamaha price.

Call him on 01666 824031. The original is Mitsubishi MF 353C - 152 Mz, but a Teac FD - 235 F (as in Yamaha MDR 3) should also work if jumpers are set correctly.

My thanks to all those I espoke to on my journey to this information.
