I have this piano in my house which was given to me by a friend. I don't play a lick and this friend said he doesn't want the piano anymore. I am moving and need this piano removed. Trying to find out if it's worth anything so perhaps I can make a few bucks off of it. Any idea what I can get for this untuned hunk of wood?

The piano you mention was made/patented in New York and patented also in Canada.

It is really difficult to give an idea how much its worth but if you can give us some more info on the piano (i.e. cabinet finish, whether it all works etc.). If your friend has any record of when the piano was last tuned and any comments made by the tuner may also be helpful.

Any figures quoted would be only an approximate idea. It may be worth employing the help of a qualified local technician to assist you.

Regards

Chris.
