Hi there

I don't know the first thing about music.
My son (5 years) and myself will be learning to play the piano in a few days and we wish to buy one for practice and use at home.

I would like to know the differences between a piano and a electronic keyboard.
As I cannot afford a piano now can anyone recomend the best Electronic keyboard for our use.

A piano and an electronic keyboard are vastly different in feel and touch. A keyboard has a soft, no resistance feel to it.

You can learn the piano and then play a keyboard but the opposite is not succesful

Why not hire a piano? look in your yellow pages.
