I have just purchased a D'Amery piano and cannot find any serial numbers or any information on this manufacturer. There is a transfer with 'great exhibition model'
Any ideas what year? Is a D'Amery piano a good one?

Thanks

David

I have some information on the various D'Amery firms, who were based in Essex, but nothing like as early as the Great Exhibition. Could it be the British Empire Exhibition, 1924? D'Amery pianos received a medal there. The examples I've tuned over the years are fairly average pianos, but some are so old now that they need major work. Press www below, and then press Datemarks.
