Hi folks
I have recently acquired a Metzler and was wondering if you could help, (im not a piano expert) the numbers 223 are burned into the main frame under the key board, is this the serial number? I cant find any other numbers on it but have photographed the logo as all the other Metzler’s show a different logo, It is stamped under the lid with the name Fitzsimmons and Co Dublin with the numbers 2883 I reckon this is their import number, and they are no longer trading, anyway any help is appreciated, and how can i upload photo

No dates of their numbers are available, except 22,600 which I used to tune, and is dated 1903 under the keys: See the Datemarks link at www.pianogen.org _________________ I do not buy, sell or value pianos, but I sometimes rescue pre-1890 pianos in the UK.
Have a look at the Datemarks page on my own website: http://www.pianogen.org
