Hello, I have recently become the owner of a piano made by W.A. Green & Co. The serial number on the piano is 16211. I have researched this piano for a little over a month now and I have not found a single thing on it. Every tuner and piano dealer I call or email tells me that they have never heard of it. Please let me know if you have any info on this piano. Thanks for your time.

One of many piano firms with that surname, William Alfred Green & Co. appeared around 1905 and disappeared in the thirties. Their serial numbers were around ten thousand in 1910, so your piano is probably a little later. Have a look at the Datemarks page at www.pianogen.org

Thank you so much. It may help that I know what the W.A. stands for now too. Thanks again.
