Dulcitone ("tuning fork piano") by Thomas Machell wanted. I keep missing them at auction, but the price seems to be from 30GBP - 200GBP from the searches I have done (depending on condition). I am in London, but can travel to collect. Or a cheap celesta. Leave a response, I'll keep checking.
Thanks.

I am still interested. How much are you looking for, and where are you? I'm in London, but can collect (South of France, though tempting, is a bit too far - see previous respondant to my add!)
Thanks,

We have a dulcitone. It was brought from England to Africa where a family member purchased it many years ago. Can you tell me how much one is worth in American dollars?

I have a Dulcitone available, though I am afraid,it does need some T.L.C. and a couple of the springs need replacing. A good clean and re-polish would do it wonders. Belonged to Grandmother. No stand I am afraid. Am looking for around &50. I live in South West London, so easy for collection.

I have a dulcitone by Thomas Machell & Son, Glasgow serial number 2063 I wish to sell. It is in good condition but needs some work to bring it up to scratch as one of the keys sticks and one appears to have come away from it's tuning fork, the pedal also needs attention. I live in Lincolnshire, UK. Offers invited.

Hi.
I live in Toronto Canada and am looking for a Dulcitone. They are very hard to find in Canada, and was wondering if anybody knows of one here, or would have any idea how much it would cost to ship one from the UK?
Thanks,

I am also looking for a Dulcitone (or cheap celesta). There is a beautiful one here in New Zealand in Whittaker's Musical Museum (you can see pictures of it online), but of course that isn't for sale.
I am happy to pay for shipping from anywhere in the world to New Zealand. I am interested in hearing from you whatever you have, but would pay more for an instrument that is is great condition.
You can contact me direct at this address scott@lilchiefrecords.com
Thanks! |

| Hi all. Thanks for all the replies - I now have two dulcitones - one good one and one for spares, and have also provided my brother-in-law with one. I am delighted though that there are still people interested in these fantastic instruments. Keep the posts coming! |

| Hang on, is there anyone out there who DOESN'T have a dulcitone? For something that rare there do seem to be a hell of a lot of them around! What's the appeal? |

| Headingley Pianos have a collection of dulcitones, both the short and the long compass. There seems to be a big demand among studio owners at the moment. Contact them direct at www.headingley-pianos.co.uk |
