Does anyone have a good piano sitting around not being played, or needing to go into storage for some reason? We might be able to give it a home in which it would be cared for, much appreciated and beautifully played - with whatever references, guarantees, assurances, deposits etc which might be required.

My problem is that I am looking for a really good piano for my daughter who is 8 years old and currently playing at grade 8 standard. The piano she has is simply not sensitive enough when she needs to play softly, and when she gets the chance to play on a top- quality instrument, she really relishes the sound - eg. in a piece like Grieg's Nocturne (op. 54 no.4) or the slow variations in Mozart's 12 Twinkle Variations.

We cannot afford the substantial sum required to buy her a top-quality piano, and do not need to own it at the moment, although the need for her to have an instrument to learn and practice on at home which is equal to her musical sensitivity and expressiveness is now pressing.
