We are looking to buy a baby grand piano we have looked at the yamaha GB1 and was wondering if there is a big difference between them and the GC1 as there is a &2000 price difference. I have not played for a fewer years but was a grade 3 when I stopped playing and my partner is a novice.
Also where is the best place to buy.
We have looked at rimmers, music box, chris venebales in hampshire and hacker& howarth in bolton

Yes there is a big difference with the new GB1 and the GC1 the top treble in the GC1 is far better and the bass treble change over as well, at the moment Music Box have or did have last week 4 GC1s and 3 GB1s in stock so you can try them out Hacker & Howarth are now owned by Rimmers who have a price promise they also have GB1 and GC1 at the Leyland shop but only one of each.
Beside Venebales who carries a large stock you have chamberlain music as well. However, to get the full discount form chamberlain you must buy from the web site, if you go to the shop to try you don’t get the same discount and I believe that is the case with Venebales but not with Music Box
