I recently acquired this piano, and I am in the process of having the action restored. The case is in fairly good condition. I would like to know how old this piano is, and how common this type is. I believe the serial number is 866. I found what I believe to be the serial number inside the back of the piano. The number is 116688. Hopefully, someone can tell me something about it.

A serial number is useful to have when trying to date a piano Take of the bottom panel off and you will find it stamped in the sound board.

Take a look at

click on the button Eavestaff Mini Piano

Eavestaff made a number of different minipianos, so without more details, it's difficult to say any more. Press www below, and press Numbers.

The serial number on the Eavestaff Pianette mini piano is 116688. Still looking for someone who can tell me it's age and something about it.

First Please do not send me private messages about piano history

With the number you have provided this would put the date at c1949

as to info on your piano you were give an page to go and look at about the history of Eavestaff
