|
|
Hello. This is possibly the daftest question to be asked here - but here goes! Can anyone tell me what the Yamaha U1 piano is supported on - small castors, pads ? I'm having one delivered later this week, and it will sit on a laminate floor, which I'm keen to protect from any dents, damage etc. I suspect the piano will be pretty heavy, so my main chance of putting something down will be at the time of delivery - I think it will be too late to lift it up afterwards. Depending on whether it has castors, and of what size, will determine what sort of protector I have to get before they come.
Also - I've heard a suggestion that a bowl of water should be put in the bottom of the piano to improve humidity. Does anyone have any thoughts on this ?
Thank you in advance. |

They are small and because of that the area in contact with the floor is small so they do mark laminated floors castor cups will sold your problem

I would take readings of the humidity first with a Hygrometer then have a word with the tuner when they come to do your first tuning
