Does anyone know anything about the Kawai BS20?

We have played a 1989 import from Japan, with seemingly very little wear and on sale for 2,400 pounds. Is this a good price? It plays well and sounds good to us!

Thanks

Kawai's nomenclature was so random that not even Kawai know what their own models are, but at a guess a BS20 is a 121cm Yamaha U1 sized jobby in black bright finish?

This being the case, if it's on sale at a bona fide VAT registered dealer and the price includes that particular tax, delivery, first tuning and a warranty, and you like playing it then it's not a bad deal.

If it's private sale, eBay or from a part time dealer working from a lock up or his back room it's too expensive.

BS-20 is a tiny bit bigger than a U1, 124cm or 49" in old money, but essentially, it isn't that different to a U1, black and shiny. Cool

Maybe just bigger castors?! Wink
