I believe that the little brass bits that the strings run through just before the tuning pins are called agraphs?
Is there a special tool that removes them as I have removed 2 using a pair of pliers that seem to eat into the top edges?
I can't find any other tool in my kit that will work as they are so close together. _________________ Gustav Hagspiel 5'10" Burl Walnut Baby Grand Serial #: 980

They're agraffes, and I'd try just placing a bit of cloth/padding over the jaws of your pliers. |
