Hello, I bought this piano at an auction and want to find out more about it the piano companies here don't seem to know about it. I was told once that Colonius went out of business in 1907. My piano is a upright and it used to have candle holders attached to the front. I would love to find a picture of the holders so tht I could get new ones made. According tpo the shipping tag the piano was shipped from london to Canada then to the east coast of he U.S. Any information would be deeply appreciated. Thank you. Very Happy

The only information I have ready on computer contradicts the 1907 date, because Colonius & Co. were agents who importd Winkelmann pianos in 1918. I can quote for printed examples of sconces (projecting candleholders) but you will probably never know the exact design, because customers could choose from many models. I'll see what I can find in card and paper files, press www below, or type PianoGen into the address bar.
