Dominic Yue
Cert. GSMD, Dip. ABRSM
I am an experienced piano teacher, situated in North London, and my lessons are taught at my home. I have altogether 3 pianos in my music studios. The first is a new 7' Bosendorfer in the same room as a 5'6" Broadwood & Sons, both in a pristine state and conditioned frequently. This room is my main teaching area and another room with a Knight upright is adjacent to it.
I travel to central London to teach frequently (particularly in the Kensington & Chelsea areas), where the lessons will be taught in a hired piano room. In terms of education, I was a past student of the City of London School and then Imperial College London. I was also in the Royal College of Music, studying piano and musicianship. I participated and received first prize in the prestigious Gordon Turner Memorial Competition as well as being a finalist in all the competitions I took part in during my time at the RCM. Since a very young age I have been performing and winning many competitions consistently across the UK. I also performed for the ISM and won the EPTA Piano competition in Oxford.
The teaching rate is GBP 15 per half hour lesson. I teach all ages and standards, from beginner to advanced stages. For starting off children on the piano, I use a unique method tailored for young beginners that would help hold their attention and interest in music.
