POP / JAZZ PIANO & SONGWRITING TUTION.
The great thing about learning popular piano is that you can start to sound pretty good really quite soon if you get the right kind of tution. Playing popular piano (or keyboards) is very different to studying traditional classical piano as less importance is placed on reading sheet music and mastering music theory - instead playing by ear, improvising around a chord structure and listening to other musicians in a band is the key.
Whether you are completely new to the piano, returning to music or a good classical player looking for a change of direction then I would love to hear from you. I teach privately as well as at the British Music Workshops (www.britishmusicworkshops.co.uk) and welcome children and adults of all ages. I can come to you or we can practice in my home studio.
I am a professional piano player and songwriter and work as a session player for Universal Music. I am located just off the Kings Road, Berkhamsted.
