I have been teaching for over nine years as a private tutor, and have been working for the Performing Arts Service as a peripatetic keyboard and piano teacher for 3 years.
I continue my own studies with recording artist, arranger and concert pianist, Alan Etherden.
I teach a wide range of pupils with current ages ranging from 4 to 64! As a music lover and a teacher, I want my pupils to explore, enjoy and develop a love of music and become well rounded musicians. As well as learning to read notation and play a wide range of pieces (from Baroque to Pop!) lessons also incorporate theory, composing, the use of music software such as sibelius and n-track etc.
I do enter pupils for exams if they wish and I also teach music theory.
Lessons can be from 15mins to 1hr depending on each individual.
All ages welcome!
