Michalis Angelakis MMus, PGDip

MMus - PgDip (Distinction) Trinity College of Music London graduate (best final recital mark for the year 2007/08: 95%!), currently a lecturer and accompanist at Morley College, London, accompanist for the Docklands Singers mixed choir, successful concert pianist, over 4 years experience of teaching the piano, theory and singing to students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to grade 8 and above.

Coming mainly from a classical music background, however able and happy to teach a wide range of styles, from traditional to modern music, easy listening, children's tunes, jazz and pop. Repertoire mainly depends on the student's preferences and interests. I am always happy to arrange my students' favourite pieces for piano and provide them with their own copies.
Students wishing to enter ABRSM examinations in piano or theory are as welcome as students who just wish to learn the piano for their personal enjoyment.
I own an excellent Yamaha piano as well as a decent music library of aducational music books at my flat, however lessons at your flat can also be negotiated if you live in the area of Docklands or around.

Have you always wanted to start learning the piano but are not quite sure whether it is for you? Have you been learning in the past and still can't decide whether to go back to it or not? Have you been teaching yourself in the past and feel you need to carry on with some guidance? Why not book a 45min half-price induction lesson to 'tip your toe into the water'?

For any questions you might have or to book your half-price induction lesson, please contact me.
