Jaye Toms - Individual Piano & Vocal Tuition

Jaye Toms is a patient and understanding classically trained singer and pianist offering lessons to both beginners and advanced students in her Epping home. All ages are considered, especially adult beginners.
Jaye held a vocal scholarship at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and following an academic degree at the University of Essex, she returned to study for a BA Hons in Music at Colchester Institute Centre for Music and Performance Arts, where she was awarded a first class honours degree specialising in piano performance.
A winner of the 2007 Canon Jack award for Solo piano, adjudicated by John York, Jaye enjoys giving recitals and undertakes a number of accompanying duties ranging from ABRSM examinations to assisting her partner, the baritone David Wood.
Jaye currently holds a teaching position at Colchester High School four days a week in addition to her private teaching practice.
Lessons are given at Jaye's Epping home on a beautiful handcrafted Yamha S4 Grand piano.
