I am a highly experienced professional classical musician and piano teacher with a record of working with children and young people from different backgrounds, including those with disabilities and special needs.
Graduate of the Moscow Conservatoire (honours). Post Graduate Diploma in Performance, Chamber Music, Piano Teaching and Accompaniment. Attended courses for young teachers at Conservatorio Statale di Musica "Claudio Monteverdi", Bolzano, Italy and Conservatoire in Pardubice, Czech Republic. Also attended upgrading courses for teachers who specialize in working with children with disabilities and SEN.
I am intensely involved in private teaching. My approach is based on traditions of Russian school, yet benefits from diverse and accurate knowledge of the modern tendencies. In the recent 10 years I had led over 200 pupils and students, aged 3,5 to 25 through the way from their very first steps in music to successful entry to some of the most prestigious musical schools and colleges.
I have been working in the UK since 2002 and am a registered teacher at the ABRSM. Over 50 of my students have passed the Grade exams with distinction.
The age range of my students is fairly broad and level varies from beginners to those who aim for professional career in music.
