I am a young (24!) piano teacher but with 5 years of experience. I teach both at schools and privately from home, and have a 100% pass rate for students taking ABRSM exams. I like to teach ear training, chords, rhythmic work, and above all, the songs that the student actually wants to do, instead of just the standard exam pieces and scales (though these are obviously encouraged). I teach jazz, pop, rock and blues piano, and encourage students to learn pieces and songs by their favourite bands/singers. Students of all ages and standards are most welcome, from beginners to those wishing to take Grade 8. I have a piano in my house, so I can teach from home or come to yours.
