Miss Lucie Bebbington
1st Class BMus Hons RSAMD, Grade 8 Distinction ABRSM, grade 8 merit (theory) ABRSM)
After recently graduating from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with First Class Honours, Lucie is currently teaching piano and general musicianship in the Music Studio, Gurgaon near Delhi, India. With six years teaching experience, Lucie intends to begin a new teaching practice in Kingston Upon Thames from September 2010 onwards. Whilst at the RSAMD, Lucie studied under Aaron Shorr (head of keyboard and collaborative piano) throughout her time there. Prior to commencing this course, Lucie had been studying with Vanessa Latarche (head of keyboard at the Royal College of Music) and Martin Richards (ABRSM international examiner). For her third year of study Lucie was accepted into the Vienna Conservatory, Austria to study under Gerhard Geretschlaeger (international performer). Alongside this Lucie has performed in masterclasses for Andrew Ball, Andrew Zolinsky and Martin Hornstein. As well as solo and chamber music performances, Lucie has maintained a strong balance with her two passions: teaching and community music.
Lucie has won awards for her academic work in music, as well as her performances.
Teaching all ages and abilities with a 100% pass rate for the ABRSM exams.
