As an active concert pianist and professional accompanist I also have a great passion for teaching.
I teach from a sound proofed, dedicated music studio in my house, with a new Boston Grand Piano. I am an experienced and patient tutor offering detailed and fun lessons to all ages. I achieved my degrees from the Royal College of Music, where I received Distinctions for my chosen exams.
I have extensive experience with Children and Adults (I am a professor in both Primary and Secondary schools with approximately 35 students at present) and I have given master-classes in some of England's top Schools to more accomplished pianists.
I have taught students from their early stages to diploma level and have a strong desire in helping pupils to pass their exams with the utmost confidence and success, with many students going on to receive Distinctions and Merits in their ABRSM grades.
My aim is to create a rounded and passionate musician with a desire to continue with music for many years.
I do ask that potential beginners have access to a piano or keyboard to practise on. The minimum age for beginners that I can currently accept is 9 years old.
