Music tuition is provided by a highly qualified and experienced musician,with a musical career spanning over twenty years. After gaining a degree in joint first study piano and organ from the Royal College of Music, he attained a PGCE from Durham University. Since then he has been Head of Department in music schools all over the country, as well as keeping a private practice of pupils. He has proven success at GCSE and A Level as well as instrumental tuition with a 100% pass rate, and is an examiner for Edexcel and the London College of Music.
Private lessons are offered for piano, keyboard, organ, theory, and GCSE, AS or A Level coaching. In addition, pre exam lessons are available in aural tests or sight reading.
Fees are laid out as follows:
Piano and Keyboard: Beginners to Grade 3 £19/hr
Length of lesson 20 or 30 minutes
Piano and Keyboard: Grade 3 to 8 £25/hr
Lessons from 20 minutes up to an hour as required
Shared tuition (keyboard only)
Class of two £15/hr
Class of three £12/hr
All shared lessons 30'. Not normally suitable for higher grades.
Aural, sight reading, theory
Beginner to Grade 3 £19/hr
Grade 4 and above £25/hr
