David is an experienced performer, musician and teacher with 12 years of teaching experience including Bretton Hall & University of Leeds. His approach is relaxed but thorough & is tailored to each student’s needs. His teaching style comes from a 19 year formation with a long line of high-calibre performer/tutors –including specialist music schooling (CYM, London), a degree in Jazz (LCM), PGCE experience (Univ. of Leeds)- all of which have greatly informed his teaching practice.

He teaches; All forms of arrangement & composition. Piano (classical & jazz) - including grades if required, keyboards & kybd programming, performance & musicianship. Harmony, improvisation, Blues, Latin music (incl. Salsa & Bossa Nova, Samba etc.), Gospel.
