About Me:
I specialise in providing Beginners' Piano & Keyboard lessons for Tots and Children, from 4 years old up to Grade 3 standard. I have been teaching part-time for 2 years and have been playing the piano and keyboards, both for fun and employment, for nearly 20 years. I hold a Musical Performance A Level, Theoretical Music A Level, Music GCSE and Grade 8 in Piano, as well as being the North London and Enfield Festival winners on several occasions.
I am also a Mother to a baby boy, and understand how the world of music can enthuse and widen even the youngest minds.
About my Lessons:
I provide music tuition in a warm and friendly environment, where learning is encouraged in a positive way. I have a dedicated music room in my own home in Milton Keynes.
My teaching includes learning to read music, physical technique and musical theory. When it is appropriate, I can prepare children towards examinations (ABRSM), alongside encouraging a love for the instrument and playing purely for fun.
Availability:
I offer term time lessons after school and at weekends. The lessons typically last 30 minutes.
NB I am currently on Maternity Leave and will be resuming lessons from April 2008 – with FREE Taster Sessions available at the end of March.
Prices:
£12 per 1/2 hour.
