I am able to teach all ages and abilities up to Grade 8, in a hopefully enjoyable and relaxed manner.
For music exams with other instruments I accompany and can rehearse with the student prior to their exam and then play at the examination centre. However, I find that for the best results, more than one rehersal should take place as the student gains in confidence by getting used to playing with a piano and we can go to the examination centre as a 'team'. Also with extra rehersal time I can go through areas of the exam which the student may feel less confident about such as sight reading and aural tests.
I also am a performer and play for private parties, birthdays etc. with a mixture of classical, jazz and popular music.
When the The Queen visited Brunel University in 2007 I was chosen by the University to provide background music during The Queen's lunch.
