The registration process is in four parts, and there are special notes for screen reader users under Part One.

Part One

1. Choose a Login name, which must be at least 4 characters long. This is not your personal name.

2. Add your Email Address (required).

3. Choose a Password.

4. Enter the Password again.

5. Tick the I agree to the terms and conditions

6. Fill in the security code. Hovering the mouse over the speaker will cause it to say the code. IE users may have to click on it first.

Screen Reader Users:

Using JAWS: Set JAWS to forms mode. When you reach the security code, JAWS will say "in active control." If you then press CTRL+INSERT+ENTER followed by TAB, JAWS will then say the code. Press TAB to go to the next box and enter the code. If you can't remember it, just press Shift and TAB and JAWs should say it again.

Using Window-eyes: you must press enter on the edit box and scroll down with the cursor, it then speaks the code.

Using Hal: Once Hal announces Inactive Control if you then press the Space Bar or Insert Keys the voice will be heard.

Part Two

Select the type of listing you would like: Free, Basic, or Super. You will be able to change this later.

Part Three

1. County: You need to select County from the first pull-down list. The page will then refresh and tell you "No category selected, please select one from the list below."

2.Town:You need to select your town from the pull-down list. (If your town is not in the list see 3 below.) When you have selected one, click on the "select town" button. The page will then refresh, and your town will appear at the top left of the page. See image on the bottom lleft of this section

3.Insert New Town Box: If your town is not there, you can enter it in the "Insert New Town Box." The page will refresh and your town will be in the pull down list of towns. Then proceed as in number 2 above.

4.Company - Your Name: This is where you put your name or your company name. This is what appears on the website.

5.Description: Enter a description of the services you provide.

6.Postal Code: You can put the first part in for the site search or the full postal code if you wish to be found on a map.

7. Contact Person: The is manly for music schools

8. Phone Number:

9. Mobile Phone:

10. Instant Messenger/Name ID: Select from the pull-down menu and select the service you use, then type in the code you use.

11. E-Mail Address: Type here your Email Address. If you are contacted it will activate a contact form. The contact form sends their IP address as well as the message. If you don’t want to be contacted by email leave this blank. All email addresses are protected from robots.

12. URL / Website: Place the link to your website if you have one.

13. Qualifications: Place them here. Minimum is Grade 8 or above (required).

14. CRB checked: Use the pull-down menu or leave blank.

15. Submit :Click it

Part Four

The final part is uploading an image of yourself or a logo. It must be no more than 300 x 300 @ 30000 bytes. If you have one handy browse your computer for the file and click on upload.

Then click on submit and you are done, you just need to be approved.

Adding an Image

Log In

Click on Image Gallery

You have 3 fields to fill in:

Image: You need to give the image a name, for example, “Sue playing the piano.”
Description: Say what the image is about.
Upload image: Click on Browse and find the image on your computer. It must be JPEG, maximum size 600 x 600 and 50000 bytes.

Then click on Submit.
