Here we have a very original model B from the pre first war era. The casework was painted in a pale cream colour but under the paint is a glorious rosewood veneer with the inlaid boxwood Steinway & Sons logo on the fallboard.  French polishing of the casework is underway and a sympathetic restoration of the stringing and action will follow.  Estimated completion date - end of 2010.  Further photos will be uploaded as restoration is in progress.
