Phred’s Jazz Club
We are a true, dedicated, music venue providing world-class jazz music on 6 nights of every week [Monday to Saturday]. We also host some non-jazz events on our ‘day-off’ that include The Country Club [see the news page] and the fantastic Filmonik – after all, talent is talent whether in the form of jazz, other genres of music or even film making and we believe all should be encouraged and supported wherever possible.
Of course the main reason we are here is for the JAZZ! Obviously we feel that it is vital to work with and support the talented pool of musicians based in and around the northwest and these great guys [not to mention those we haven’t yet met] will always play a significant part in the club. We also believe that an extra treat once in a while is never a bad thing. With that in mind we are constantly working on bringing to the club some of the names that most of the time we only get to read about or watch on TV.
