It's (a) a real cast-iron frame piano and (b) it really is portable - it will fit in a black cab or a camper van (though it takes two people to move it)
The keyboard hinges down inside the box for transport, and with the keyboard folded away, very approx dimensions are 130 cm wide x 110 cm high x 35 cm deep. Folded up, it looks like a big flight case.
There are pickups already built in to the piano - I bought it from a good jazz pianist who used it on stage because he couldn't bear the playing feel of an electric piano.
The piano does need a bit of fettling.

I have a beautiful traditional antique style upright piano Humphreys London, amazing wood but not sure which wood it is, music stand, needs tuning. Its over strung, all keys working, but right pedal not working.
I would like it to go to a good home as I don't play anymore, and it’s a shame to have it sitting here.

This is a fine example of a 1937 4' 11" Boudoire Grand in a well preserved walnut case. It's piano no. is 122872/4/M. This was a golden period for this piano as shortly after this they were manufactured slightly longer and were apparently never quite as good. Any work on the instrument including replacement of Standards and complete restringing in 1972 has been performed by Bluthners. I am selling my father's piano following his death. He was a professional pianist and acquired this piano from new. It has been tuned four times a year ever since. I'm afraid the duet stool that appears in the pictures is not included in the sale. Fazer Upright Piano

Fazer Finlandia Upright piano, serial number 72013 which makes it approximately 1984. The dimensions are 109x145x54 and it is finished in a light oak colour. I have inherited this piano from a family member and have no room to keep it myself unfortunately.
The casing is nice but it is by no means perfect with a few flaws where someone has tried to polish or varnish it with varying degrees of success but I'm sure this can be rectified with the right know how.
This is however, a cracking little piano which would suit a beginer or an advanced player. I have polished the brasswork, checked dampers, regulated the keyboard with new front keyboard felt punchings, centre rail punchings so it plays perfectly. Tuning pins are tight too (see pictures - the whole internal workings look like brand new now!). It has a nice clear bass to the piano considering it is a little piano and it has a singing treble section. The piano will need to be tuned after being moved.
The piano comes with a matching John Austin single stool which has storage for music. Buyer to arrange collection at their own expense.

We bought this piano in Germany in the early 70's and Bechstein sent an engineer from the factory to 'restore' it (replace damaged dampers, keys, strings, etc) as a result of me visiting the factory in Berlin at the age of ten(!)and complaining that our 'new' piano was not working properly! It is a lovely piano but it sadly needs more space as do we!
